is no longer taking place.

We used to run ROOTS BY THE RIVER --

an annual music business conference for roots musicians

(specifically, folk, country, and blues musicians).

We have always tried our best to help other musicians

as we learnt more about the music industry.

As it happens, we have applied everything that we learned.

We've taken our own advice... and now we are on tour

for over 10 months out of every year.

We are professional musicians who make our living

through our own original music.

So as a result, we just don't have time

to run Roots By The River anymore.

We are very busy running our own record label

and booking our own shows while we are on tour.

Many people contact us to ask for help and advice.

We sincerely wish you all the best.

However, due to the volume of enquiries we receive,

we have had to come to a compromise.

are strictly "fee for service",

payable in advance, on an hourly rate.

We book our own shows, we run our record label,

we handle our own publishing,

we manufacture and market our own merchandise,

and we are even our own roadies.
