And now, for the most valuable link of all – we’ve saved the best for last.

Would you like to meet the most important person in the Australian music industry?

Well, read on – we’ll give you their contact details soon. But read this first:

Queensland could have a truly thriving roots music industry if we all pull together and work cooperatively as a team. Ants do it, monkeys do it, dolphins do it… so can we! All it takes is some imagination and a bit of elbow grease. We have the talent, and we have the resources – we just need to put them together. This is where YOU come in. You can be the one person who turns out to be the ‘missing piece of the jigsaw puzzle’. Every perceived problem has a perfect solution. What do you want to happen for your career, and for our local music scene?

Once you’ve got your idea in mind, you’re the best-qualified person in the world to make it happen! If you contact only a few of these organisations, you will be well on the way to advancing your career in the music industry. In addition, when you contact them, please think of what you have to offer them – if you need them to help you, maybe you can donate some of your time as a volunteer in return. Everybody has skills of some value – you can easily put yours to use, because life is not a rehearsal! Your time in the spotlight starts now.

If you want local gigs, organise them yourself – all the resources you need are here. If you want to go on tour, get some other musos together and embark upon a grand adventure. If you want something to happen, nobody will give it to you on a silver platter. The harder you work, the luckier you get. The universe helps those who help themselves… and it ESPECIALLY helps those who help others. How can you help to bring more music into your community?

Now, did you want the contact details for the most important, most powerful person in the music industry?
